Did you know that you can use Yoono as an jabber client to chat ?
The requirement is that the jabber server must be accessible from the internet (won't work on a local-only jabber server, sorry).
All you have to do is add the GTalk service in Yoono, and, instead of giving your google credential, give your jabber login (email) and password.
That's it !

I had to tell them it's implemented for someone's idea. It's on Yoono's support forum on Getsatisfaction. The topic is "connect to any Jabber account". The Jabber domain I used to connect to through Yoono is @ya.ru
